What I’m up to on Instagram

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. I am incredibly humbled and proud to be the Senate's chair of the Joint Committee on Mental Health, Substance Use, and Recovery this session; I firmly believe that mental health is just as important as an individual's physical health. Baseball season is in full swing! It was great to join Easthampton Little League for their Opening Day on ceremony on Saturday and throw out the first pitch. ⚾️ 🥎 This morning I joined Mayor McCabe and Commissioner Johnson over at the Westfield Middle School to celebrate Arbor Day! Together with students we planted one of the first trees that will be placed throughout the school property this spring! Great morning at the Southampton Council on Aging where I learned how to crochet during my monthly office hours. Appreciate everyone's patience as I tried my best to not miscount all of my stitches. Happy Earth Day!!🌳🌎 The future is bright for Holyoke Community College ! Incredible morning celebrating the inauguration of HCC'S fifth President, Dr. George Timmons. I look forward to working alongside you Mr. President for HCC, the City of Holyoke, and our region as a whole.
